Helmet communications

I am hard of hearing and wear hearing aids, we have the Cardo systems G4 and I miss a lot of what my wife says and she is having a hard time hearing me.Anybody else have the same problem and what if any did you find was a good fix for the problem?

I suggest that you get the system that is supplied by Kawasaki. It is a plug and play and works very well and is very adjustable. If you have any questions about it give me a call and I will see what I can do to help.

Hey Dan, I don't know about the hearing aids issue, but I will say that the Kawasaki communication system mounted in our modular helmets is really nice. It is like we are having a conversation in sitting beside each other on the couch.

The music even mutes when one of us starts talking.

But the Kawasaki system is a dynamic set-up. If you're using a Cardo, that's Bluetooth. Drop me a line. I'm sure I can help, since I too have spent too many miles without ear protection.....

Gotta agree with Duane, I too wear hearing aids, but find I don't need them when using the Kawasaki helmet system. Try it out, all you need is the helmet speakers and mic, and the connecting cables, the rest is already a part of the existing radio system.

I agree with the Kawasaki unit being a really nice clear unit. Having worked around loud equipment and machinery and having a hearing loss. I can attest to this unit having a clear sound and impressing me in comparison to other sound systems I have used in the past . If you are interested in Kawasaki intercoms or the J and M intercom lower connections. PM me for info and getting them at a great price. R and R Kawasaki gives AVA members a great disount and are friends of the Voyager 1700 owners. They have answered a lot of questions for me once I purchased the bike and will help with questions. Really great people that love Kawasaki's. The Kawasaki unit is a great unit for the price. I would probably give it a try before trying other options.

I have the Kawasaki helmet intercom system. The wife and I both have 3/4 helmets. I found on our first outing together that it seemed to be active most of the time. Like one of the mics was picking up too much noise and wouldnt stop transmitting even though we weren't talking. Has anyone else had this issue?
