Hello everyone,
If I install these driver footpegs do I need to install a support bar between the left and right engine guards? I seem to remember reading something to this effect in the past.

Thanks in advance,

You don't Have to, but it is highly advisable. You can use some aluminum round stock the size of the crash bars and have the ends turned down to fit into the ends of the crash bars. The round stock should be about 4 inches longer than the gap between the two ends of the crash bars. (this will give you about two inches to go into the crash bars). Drill and secure with a sheet metal screw at each joint.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Thanks for the plug Don. I do have light bars, mirror extensions, front fork peg lights and brackets, and trunk extenders. You can contact me through the AVA website or direct at jim.aynes@servicesource.org.
