I asked Carl about a Super Brace one time while I was at his house, he said "Do you see one on mine?" That's all it took for me to put that thought on the back burner.

No, that is not a SuperBrace or an OEM brace. Someone just made one up. Doubt it would do much for the bike, but may be better than nothing.

I think that one (OEM) would be better than what is on there now. Better looking too.

The brace at the link you reference above is an OEM Voyager brace and at $10 + $11 shipping (probably more for shipping to Poland) I would go for it. A Superbrace will cost you at least $135 USD plus shipping and I really don't think they will give much improvement over OEM, subject to the following. . .

One issue to watch for on braces is that the bolts might tend to loosen over time and mileage. I was having "wobble" issues and checked the bolts and found them quite loose. I now check them every spring as part of my spring maintenance routine (as well as all frame bolts.)

The brace in your original photo is definitely not OEM, looks to be "home made." It "looks" to be too thin to withstand serious pressures and torquing.

OK thanks guys for the information. You are really helpful. I think just buy the OEM brace and will be fine.

....was wondering if anyone remembers ever reading a test report in any publication ( cycle, cycle world, motorcyclist etc... ) regarding TESTED proven ,hard data of the benefits of spending the $ 150. on the aftermarket fork brace as opposed to the stocker ? All I've ever seen is positive statements by the aftermarket companies , and by " racers " , many of which are perhaps sponsored by these companies. Never seen a small , thin brace like the one in GERY's photo, makes the stock maw kaw brace look GREAT ! !................... tony :-D

Just remember.
Those who feel a Super Brace is not necessary ,also make sure that their steering bolts are kept tight and tires are kept at the best PSI for their riding style.
Based on everything I have read is that most wobbles are due to inefficient maintenance .
