Hi all I just bought this bike two months ago. I need 1 inch to be able to plant my feet level on the ground. When I get ready to stop its not a warm fuzzy feeling.
Any sugestions on what to do?
can be kike height be adjusted?
Origina tires are
Front: 130/90-16
rear: 170/70-16
what if I changed the tires to
front: 130/80-16
rear: 180/60-16
has anyone done this??? I am very frustraded with the fact that it cost 500.00 to change the rear struts
Please help

Re: 2010 voyager Height issue
Others will step in, but may not be a good idea to change tire height as this changes many other things. I would first consider a new lower seat. There are any number of them around, very good quality and can be built to your height and weight.
This way you don't change ground clearance, load capacity, etc.

PS, changing from 90 to 80 on the 130 will only Change height by about 14 mm or so.

I agree with Terros do not change anything that will affect the ground clearance of the bike you could make a dangerous situation with cornering and handling of the bike. a lower seat could be the thing to do but also I have seen many people use a thicker sole and heal on there shoes. Also I do not know your weight or what you are running for air pressure in your rear shocks but a lower air pressure in rear shocks will help out.

Narrowing your seat can help your feet touch down easier also.

Re: 2010 voyager Height issue
Don't know if this will work on 1700 seat, but I pulled the seat cover back about half way and using an electric carving knife trimmed the sides of my wife's Goldwing seat to take some of the width off bringing her legs closer to the bike frame for a little better footing.
