Brake squeal

Post by shifterkart26 »

Tried many different sets/types of brake pads on the front and they all squeal right before I come to a complete stop. Can't seem to find an organic-non sintered pad. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi shifyerkart26, Try amazon. i get all my pads from there. install them and no " Brake Squeal". Good prices also. mine do not squeal and I live on a maintained dirt road. Approx. 8thenths of a mile long before I get to the paved road.
GOOD LUCK,

I bought these from Amazon, Kevlar based, 3 pairs for both front and back for $15 shipping included. They don't squeal and don't tear up the rotors like the sintered metal ones do.

The OP's or Volars? So far the Volars work fine and wear reasonably, too. :hpdc:

I like Galfer brake pads. I buy them from Don Medina AVA board member. I've been using them for years with good results. I've had bad luck with Volar brake pads. Pin holes on outer pads not machined to right size.
