Rear brake noise.
Hello. Anyone have any insight into what I might need to do here. The last couple of rides I've noticed a grinding noise when I apply the rear brake. If its applied long enough i can smell a burnt brake smell. They are releasing properly (I tried rotating the tire with no problem). Could i need a new rotor or? Replaced pads in the spring. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Rear brake noise.
You can see both the rotor and pad from low in the back. Easiest if on the center stand. The manual has specs for the pad. If the rotor is gouged, it's toast ... and they're pricey.
For a first pass also look for leaking fluid (brake fluid anywhere, and any other kind of fluid on the rotor). But I doubt it.
