Wow, it's been a while since coming on here!
I got the bug to take my 91 XII for its first spin in about six months... but it got cut way short by the discovery of a leaking #4 carb bowl gasket.
So, I'm about to order up some bowl gaskets and some JIS screw bits to get er done... found out when going through the carbs on my 454 LTD (same carbs) that a phillips bit doesn't work so great on the bowl screws.
Question, has anyone attempted to reseal the bowls without pulling the carb rack? If I can sneak the bowls out with a 90 degree bit driver, that's how I'll do it.

Re: Bowl gasket leaking, arrgh
The stuff arrived, I got some Motion Pro JIS bts #1,2, and 3 from Amazon, and a set of bowl gaskets. Going to attempt this on the bike with a 90 degree bit driver, since it's just the #4 bowl gasket seeping and otherwise no carb performance issues, and it looks like there is enough room to do it. Will repost results.
