New to owning a voyager
Hello everyone I’ve just joined the sight and wanted to say what a great wealth of info here.I owned a bunch of bikes over the years and currently own a Harley but bought a 99 voyager last season with 16000 miles on her and have to say she is my new favorite so much so I haven’t taken out the Harley once this season lol.also wanted to give a shout out to Carl which I had the pleasure of speaking to about a down shifting problem I was having.the info he gave me was spot on and had it fixed in minutes after our conversation.thanks again Carl for helping me get up and running.Still have a few things to address this winter but what a comfortable bike for my fiancé and myself as now she loves to ride with me a lot more than on the back of the Harleyreally happy I found this sight and can’t wait to update as I plan to upgrade

Re: New to owning a voyager
Welcome aboard! My wife and I ride two up, on our Voyager XII, 98% of the time. We trade positions usually every two hours. I am familiar with riding from both seat positions. The XII is a fantastic touring bike. We've owned ours since 2010. We've ridden it in diverse weather conditions, as well as widely varying road conditions, two up.
This forum has members who cover the gamut of expertise in riding, wrenching, and knowledge of places to ride (and places not to ride...). We are a pretty friendly group. Don't be bashful in asking questions. We love to be of assistance. Cheers!

What Loren isn't telling you is that he uses his XII to pull a corn picker. So those were pretty rough miles.cushman eagle wrote: ↑Thu Sep 16, 2021 1:15 am I bought a '99 in 2009 with 22,000 on it,and it now has 98,630,and still runs as good as it did then

We just got back from our customer in S.Kentucky having chopped 17,000 tons of corn for cow feed.
