Introduction
Hello from the united kingdom !
I am a happy owner of an '86 1200. Any other 'brits' using this forum?
The voyager xii is a bit of a rarity over here. In fact i've seen more being broken up , than i have on the road. Shame to lose these bikes. In fact i haven't seen any others on the road , but there must a few hidden away.
Anyway, its good to find a place devoted to the model.

Re: Introduction
Sometimes I feel that I’m on the wrong side of the pond because, like a Scot, I usually can reach into my pocket and pull out the exact change. That pretty much sums up why I like the XII. From its seat, almost everyone looks like a poseur.

Re: Introduction
Hi, and welcome to the AVA!
If you need to know it, we know it.
If we don't know it, we can find out.
If we can't find out, you don't need to know.
Yeah, right Seriously, there is SERIOUS knowledge about these bikes in these forums and on the web site. AND, as an extra special bonus, a few of us post links to the ever-important and vital Service Manual in their signatures.
Some areas on this web site of particular note are the Tech Center, especially the Dollar For Dollar section. Nails might possibly post his famous Sticky (hmm... Nails' Sticky, or perhaps Nail's Sticky... yeah, yeah, that's it Nails Is Sticky). And, of course, if you can't find it on the web site, or just don't bother to look and ask us about it, we won't throw anything at you. We like showing off our knowledge by answering questions, it makes us feel like we know something. Of course, many (if not most) of us are of A Particular Age and can't remember where we put our keys half the time, but there is tremendous Knowledge of Voyagers on here.
