but she's so happy cruising at 100 mph down the highway I'd feel bad if I didn't indulge her....

They do ride well going fast! But ride extremely well slow too!!!!!!

Yes,the 1200 is a well behaved,good running bike.
But dr-makoki,I my cruise control will not work at that speed .
The fastest I ever had my 1200 was 115 passing a double log truck coming back through the UP on the way home from the Hurley rally
