cranky wrote: Thu Jul 23, 2020 1:41 pm .. if you use an impact driver, the weighs will some right off, no problem,
they just need a few bangs to break'um loose..... Russel Day Long, IIRC

Also beads add 1/2", some goes into what is under it, but there is space, and
the purpose is to allow air flow under you, dry you out... main purpose
is to prevent monkey butt....
Got it - Yea my butt was a lil damp but not too bad lol. I wear some good riding pants that haver good airflow so not too wet. If I find I get monkey butt too much I might just get some beads :)

Good Idea on impact driver will get one I am buying a Torque Wrench too so get both at same time from Harbor Freight preolly :)

Cranky is right about the air flow when sitting on top of wooden bead seat covers... Sat on our's, one time, with a wet back side. Took off down the highway -- it felt like it was freeze-drying! It was nice to have my nether's drying, but, WoW, was it cold!

Had a similar experience with helmet vents. They don't seem to flow much air, on hot days, but ride in cooler weather, with the vents open, and you will feel that ice-cold jet-stream, I guarantee ya'! Closing the vents really helped warm us up. On hot rides, they do not feel like they are doing anything for you, but they are. Cheers!

Yea I live in Vegas (Hear Bill O lives here, I PM him, no reply yet lmao) - anyways, I know about the Vents on helmet. Closed feels like ima pass out - open, at least I can breathe normally and feel like I am hot, but not pass out hot - they do help. I have a HJC Helmet so have decent venting.
