I built the front thing in the middle something like 15 years ago. It's a service pit, 3.5 ft deep. I've had a canopy over it all that time -- some projects take a little longer than expected.

The back part of the middle (under that piece of plywood) is about 3 in deep, with embedded bolts sticking up for the -- you guessed it -- lift table.

I've wanted a shop/garage like this basically my whole life. And now ... I'm getting too old to use it. Ah well.

Monsoon season here (had a hella-big electrical storm just last hour), but in a couple weeks the shell should slam up pronto. And boy do I have projects lined up.

Don't forget a solid non-conductive table to mount the whiz bang app on, but seriously, it looks as though you will have plenty of room for all your projects in the future. Well done, and it's never too late.
