Best Location to get power when installing a GPS on handlebars

Where is the best location to get power to a GPS being installed on the handlebars of a 2021 Voyager ABS. I know there are some accessory wires in the left side box and I have heard there are some in the Headlight. Not sure which is best?

..I believe they now call this "everything" forum, it IS a Voyager, and many lament,
but way it is... vroc.org was the Vulcan side of the family for many, many years...

Bulldog, I'm not familiar with the 1700's. However, I would suggest you investigate adding a sub-fuse block to your bike. If you plan to add anything else to your bike, you may enjoy the cleaner solution of a sub-fuse block, to organize, and keep everything clean, and orderly.

For my 1200, I installed one beneath the faux gas tank. I installed a 12V accessory outlet atop the cruise controls, on the faux tank. I also installed some extra lights on the engine guard bars, as well as a relay to control my aftermarket horns: the horns are directly connected, through the relay, to the battery; the OEM horn button activates the relay (these wires would get dangerously hot, and drop voltage, and the power delivered to the horns, if they carried the full load...). This gives the horns full power, with minimal voltage drops, making them louder. I run all three circuits through the sub-fuse block, which is also controlled by a relay -- it disconnects power to the three circuits, when the bike is off.
