Loud muffler:
I finally realized that my 2011 Voyager has after market Cobra mufflers. How can I get rid of these nut jarring mufflers for some quieter ones without spending a fortune?

Afternoon here is my question I am thinking about changing the the mufker to my voyager for the cobra ones. How much does the noise affect the ability to hear the radio?der4455 wrote:I finally realized that my 2011 Voyager has after market Cobra mufflers. Re: Loud muffler:
I have the tri ovals on my 12 voyager. Too loud for me, but the performance is great. I wrapped 20' of 1" stove rope around the right baffle and 10' around the left baffle and now have the power without the bark. Nice and mellow, but still barks when you get on it. JMTCW.

Hello Mark z28,
As you can see, "audi doc" (Mike) made that post august of last summer, and has bought a new bike since then and may not have the 1700 any longer (or parts) he also may not be on the forum as much as before. Try sending him a P.M. , you may get a quicker reply to your question.
