Hello all,
I just thought I would start this thread for any owners of the 2013 Voyager.
After a trip from Kansas City, MO to Lexington, KY and back on my Shadow, I had had enough of stopping for gas every 110 miles. About two months later I sold my Honda and about two months after that I bought my (hopefully) Retirement bike. A 2013 Kawasaki Voyager with 13,700+ miles.
Pics to follow but its the Blue and black color scheme.
I have not made any mods yet but there is an antenna mod that looks easy enough and outside of that, I am looking forward to getting to know all of you here.
Are there any major minor changes in this one compared to 2009 - 2012 years?

Re: 2013 Voyager Owners
In 2011, they changed the ECUs for them, this took care of the recalls on the 09s and 10s. I think it was 2012 that the KAMS kit became standard, this helps with the heat riders felt. I have a 2012 ABS model and have 3 tone controls on the radio, many with older models say they only have bass and treble adjustments, I also have a mid range setting. Besides color schemes, there may have been other minor updates from year to year. I also understand Kawasaki has eased up on the belt tention in 2014 or 15.

And I had also heard that some changes were made to gears in the transmission, so they don't clunk so loud as they did in the 2009 models like mine. I just tell everyone that the tranny is made by a well known American manufacturer when they comment on the shift clunk.rick wrote:In 2011, they changed the ECUs for them, this took care of the recalls on the 09s and 10s. They also added a GPS connection to the stereo system at some point. Not enough changes for me to trade in my '10 Voyager with 50,000 trouble free miles. I did see a lightly used white and silver Voyager for $10,900 that was very tempting. Then I could have one set up with the nomad backrest, and one wither the trunk for touring.
Both Victory and Harley have quick release kits for their trunks, which is easier than having two bikes.

You WILL enjoy the Vger, I have a 2009 (Triked out) and have made the trip across the US and back to California along with another rider who has a I think 2011. No problems on either for that and many other trips - these bikes are bullet proof. Now, all you need to do is spend the additional $20.00 and become a full fledged member of the finest Kawasaki riders group and forum on the net -Remy Martin wrote:Hello all,

Also, should the need ever arise, I have a lot of left over parts from when I had my '09 triked, like a full rear fender with light and turn signal, both saddle bags, a near new radiator, front and rear seats, etc. All in the prettiest color Kawasaki has come up with, the blue and black!
