Slip on mufflers
I got my 2014 Voyager 1700 in Septenber and have about 5000 miles on it and really like it. But I would like to get some different mufflers for it. A little louder but not too loud. Had a couple Road Stars before with Hard Chrome mufflers but now getting older and don't want it that loud. Any suggestions?

Re: Slip on mufflers
I noticed my stock mufflers got a little louder after about 5,000 - 10,000 miles. My 2011 Voyager sounds good now and I don't have to worry about my ears ringing.

Re: Slip on mufflers
Ride it. They will get louder.
At 30,000 miles most people thought I had aftermarket pipes.
At 50,000 miles it has a nice low rumble. Might have to pick up someone's OEM take offs here in another 25,000 miles.

Re: Slip on mufflers
Thanks guys for the information. I'll see what it sounds like in another 5-6000 miles.

Re: Slip on mufflers
I purchased my bike new in 2013 and installed a set of Vance and Hines slip-ons. They sound 100 times better than any cruiser on the road. In fact, my brother-in-law purchased a set for his 2010; again, the sound is awesome.

Re: Slip on mufflers
Had a set of D&D's on my Voyager and they sounded great....tried a set of Vance and Hines and the wife prefers them so the D&D's must go.
