Okay! MY bike!

Post by WingNutLori »

Mine is a 1990 Honda GL 1500 (and yes, I ride it...all by myself!)

Marty, I love that color scheme and I know it is freshly painted, but the person who painted yours is very good with everything. But, I love the colors!!!!!!!

Hey WingNutLori!
Your bike picture didn't show up for me, is that because it's a Honda and they're still mad at Kawasaki? Maybe it's just my settings.
Love the pics everyone!

The top pic is the one she posted and is hosted with her own whatever. The second one is hosted through tinypic. I've run across something like this before. I right clicked on the red X and got the address and copy/pasted that into the address bar and hit enter. The pic shows up then and then, when you hit your back button to come back here, the picture is viewable. But, if you hit refresh, the red X shows up again. Weird. Way beyond my know-how.

About the missing Honda Picture....

Well it was a little stupid of me to post a Gold Wing picture to a thread about Kaw Voyagers. Maybe it's the Kawasaki gremlins "fixing my wagon"! :-)

Seriously, I initially had problems with the pic showing up. Gary explained that I had to get the url path from the picture properties. I did. The pictures showed up.

Today? Well...not so much! I'm stumped too unless it's an anomoly unique to Kodakgallery.com (where I store my photos). Is anyone else using kodakgallery?

See, and right now at home, when I view this post, neither pics that are hosted with your Kodak-thingy come up as a red X.

WindNutLori,
Chris was right on the button, this time the pic showed up with out any issues. So it must not be you, just those darned Kaw-critters up to no good. Either way GL or Voyager it's still a very nice looking machine!

Thanks! I found my ride on ebay (eeeek! scary) and bought it from a guy who left it setting in a garage (unloved) for TWO years. Lesson learned: Don't add chrome unless you are prepared to CARE for it! What a mess this thing was! I don't encourage anyone to look to closely at some of my chrome even now...but it's a whole lot better than it was.

Bought my Voyager off ebay. Rode it home from Colorado Springs. Bought my scooter off ebay. Picked it up in St. Louis. Just got back this weekend from buying a Ford Focus in Baltimore, Maryland off ebay. Just have to do your homework and know what you're getting yourself into.

Even then, you still have to keep your fingers crossed, LOL.

YUP!!! My username of flip18436572 is what I always use when you have a forum setup like this. The other fourm was not a great style of forum, so I never regestered, and just typed in PAL for a name on the other site.

My SV650S is posted in the other thread called, my other bike, or I think that is what it was called. I don't remember who started it either. My KTM is there also.
