Nail Varnish on my 86 Voyager

Hello Voyagers, Some thing that was passed on to me a couple of years ago when I bought my 86 Voyager was a bottle of 'black plum' nail varnish as a exact match for the bikes color, it works too ! if you spend a little time preping the damaged area, it's virtually undetectable, good eh.

p.s. The black plum nail varnish I've used was made in the U.S.A.

I also use nail polish on my 2002. Not sure what the color is but gave my wife one of the fairing wings to take with her when she got her nails done. They matched the color by applying polish to the back side until they got a color that came very close. Have painted over scuffs and chips and unless you know they are there you won't see them. Good stuff........

OK, I want to know which guy is going to go and buy Nail Polish? I think black is the color of choice among the young men on campus. I can just picture my middle aged self walking up to the nail polish counter in all my motorcycle clothing with helmet under my arm and ask for plum passion nail polish

Hello, at 56 years of age I don't care anymore, I'm just besotted with this damn bike, I'm not sleeping with her yet but it's getting pretty close. it's the oldest bike I've ever owned and the best, it's a crazy world eh.

You didn't put that in the wrong place Martin. I just think that it would make a great Tech tip. That way the info doesn't get lost down the line.

Hello Charlie, That 03 model of yours in Silver has to be one of the best looking bikes I've seen, If I get a chance of one here in Oz, it will be mine.
