how do you use a motorcyle jack to raise the voyager XII

On this Voyager adapter do you have to first run the Voyager tires up on blocks to make room for the asembly to roll under the bike?

Yes, you drive up onto 1" thick for the lift to clear under the bike, I have full instructions.

The make I have is a Craftsman. A similar one is Larin.
There are generic makes out there that seem to copy the Craftsman & Larin

got mine today, great addition to my tools. easily assembled and works like a charm, i had a machine i am working on up in the air to change both tires in about 20 minutes. a must have for anyone that services their own machines.

i got the adapters from richard, they turned a useless item into a very useable tool. it is hard to change tires on my table lift, this makes an easy job of it.

For those with Craftsman jacks: I thought I read somewhere in product reviews that the bottle jacks on these went out quite often, or am I mistaken? Has everyone with these had good luck as far as service life? Which is the brands of M/C jacks to stay away from?

The craftsman lift I have, Ive had for about ten years and no problems with the bottle jack on it.

I have the craftsman jack and the hydrolic bottle jack has been a piece of junk. I had to replace the seals a few years ago and that helped for a while. This past year I replaced the bottle as it gave out. Tried to find a replacement bottle through sears but no luck.

Found where I was reading about them- on Sears own site. It appears there are two versions now. A cheaper steal one, and the better one made out of aluminum. The cheaper one appears to be not so good with several failures. The aluminum one seems to get much higher marks but still has some that are unsatified. Looks like both are made out of the USA (guess where). It also looks like you can't get any parts for them if you need those at any point. :evil:

Does your jack adapter work on all bikes? Seems your couplings for the front of the bike are set, and I imagine most bikes vary, at least a little.
Can you tell me the measurements on the width on the front part, and tell me exactly where that support contacts, so I can measure?
