I haven't ridden in much rain since installing the Elite 3 so I can't comment much.PKarl wrote:Time for new tires here before its rideing time and wondering about wet traction on the E3 as well. read one review where someone said their harley kicked out on a wet road and spun out on a steel ramp..anyone have any other experiences with them on wet roads..the elite II on there now aret great on wet roads either
What I can say if the ME 880 (Vulcan 750) and Avon Storm ST (ST1100) stuck great even in torrential downpours. With that said, I almost lost it on both bikes because of steel plates & dew on the yellow line (made a quick left turn across the yellow line). If you come across steel plates, the best thing to do is keep your speed steady and go straight.
