Fork Leg Lights - Kawasaki Accessory
Does anyone have a set of these lights on their XII. What wattage are the bulbs - total of 4 correct? I am trying to determine how many watts I can run off the 'white headlight cavity female connector' if I connect auxiliary lights to this powersource.

The Black/Yellow White/Yellow Bullet socket connection is protected by and is documented as a 10 amp Acc (Auxilliary) circuit However, if you can use LED's instead, I would rather than 194's (4 Watt each) or 168's (5 watt) or 158's (3 watt).
Make sure the LEDs you get have a good all round and forward illumination.
You could, wire them into the side markers and then do the alternating indicator/side marker mod so that flash in opposition to the main turn signals
Cheers..

Check with Carl Leo he may have a set, he had the ones off of my bike which are already equiped with led bulbs (bulb are not 194 peanut bulbs) they are a small bannet base bulb, don't remember the number right now but if you need it PM me and I'll see if I can find the number. When I had the fork leg lights on my bike I tapped into the marker (running) light circuit on the turn signal bulb with no problem.

Dave is correct on tapping into the side marker lights without issues. I think Carl had a couple sets of those hanging up in his garage. I have also seen rider's convert the Gold Wing version of the lights which come with three on each side for use on the Voyager XII.

Thanks, I have a pair of rectangle H3 lamps mounted on a flat-stock aluminum bar - I was going to relamp them with this LED bulb.

Your thoughts???
