What a beautiful weekend in Chicagoland, around 90 both days and sunny. Hope everyone else was so lucky.
We were out ridin today and the radio reset itset to a diff station and I couldn't get it to change for quite a while. I think maybe something got bumped in the passenger remote controller, once before we had problems and someone here told me to check that. When we stopped for lunch I was reading the radio manual and I was wondering if the intercom is an extra. I don't see a plug for it. What is invoved in installing an intercom and what kind of headsets are needed and how much would all this cost. Thanks' Mike

Re: radio headset/intercom
The Intercom is standard but the plugins are behind the radio, accessible by taking out the headlight. You will need to order the cords for it. Check the tech page off the homepage for a diagragm on how to route them. Neal on the forums here can hook you up with the necessary items I am told. You can do a search for Voyager XII intercom for more details.

Ok, this may be too simple, but have you pulled off the passenger seat to see if the connect (sits loose on mine) is tucked up in there. Of course, the front one (on my 03) comes out on the left side (from under the gas/electronics cover) and has a storing holder above the cigarette/accessory socket. If that isn't there, then you will have to acquire as Mr Jensee mentioned.wmh9680 wrote:What a beautiful weekend in Chicagoland, around 90 both days and sunny. Hope everyone else was so lucky.

I got my headsets from Amazon.com. Sometimes they are cheaper for things than what people on Ebay sometimes want for stuff.
J&M HS-8154 Helmet Headset - Open Face HS-8154B-OF for $98.15 last December.
I have them mounted on our Bell modular helmets. I haven't bothered with the Scorpion exo-100's we ride with when it gets warm. They are so much lighter. Don't forget to wear ear noise protection though.
Have a great ride.
