Last Sat despite the rain and 30MPH wind we headed out to get the PPO check points in northwest Oklahoma. It was our looking for "LOOKOUT" ride. Here is how it went! 700 miles of great riding!!!!!!

Re: Looking for LOOKOUT OKLAHOMA
That is some serious looking camera equipment for a ride. Maybe one day we will look into getting something (nowdays it is just Marcia sticking a camera above my helmet).
Looked like you got started about the same time as a Oklahoma thunderstorm.
Also noticed you took some pictures of T-37 "tweet" I got an incentive ride in one of those once. Pretty impressive G force onset with the straight wings and a heck of a ride. Also some artillery nearby, was that near Ft Sill?

I miss the days in the tweet. I know you where at Lauglin after I left. Spent 9 years there. 8 was night line chief. Had a couple fights in the 37. The best ride I had while in the AF was a flight in a F-4

Yes I was at Laughlin (95-97) and Shepherd (93-95). Both of those bases had Tweets but I got my T-37 incentive ride at Mather AFB in Sacramento (and over the Sierra Nevada mountains to include a unique look at Yosemite Valley). An F-4 ride sounded like it would have been fun but I never had the chance for that. I did get quite a bit of helicopter time in Honduras and Panama (kind of sounded and felt like being in a flying Harley Davidson). Of course I also have lots of time in large frame aircraft too but of course that is not so exciting.
