Jim any good and cheap motels just east of Indy ? only going that far on Sunday then ride the rest of the way on Monday

We are staying in Richmond, IN: Super 8,2525 Chester Blvd, I-70 exit 151, phone 765 962 7576. With AAA discount $52.24, Indy was very pricy.

Don and Trisha left Richmond, In. early this am to visit friends or family (don't remember which) in Springfield. Hank, Gert, and I headed to Dayton to visit the Wright Brothers museum but got separated west of Dayton in heavy rain. I made it to the museum, spent a couple hours there hoping the rain would let up but no go. In fact, it got worse, a torrential downpour. Rain stopped about 10 miles west of Columbus. I stopped in S. Columbus and got a room as my reservations in Logan start tomorrow. Got a call from Hank and Gert and they made it to Logan. I'm assuming/hopping Don and Trisha made it to Logan also, haven't heard.

Planning to head out around 4am tomorrow morning as things just didn't work out for today. Bike's all packed up and ready to roll. Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise, I should be in Logan by mid to late afternoon.

We just finished our 3rd day of the return trip. We left Logan and took back roads until Lexington, then the interstate to Knoxville. Where we had a great cookout with an old Calif friend. On Saturday we were up early and rode the foothills parkway, tail of the Dragon and Cherohala Skyway. We did get lost in Chattanooga, but made it to Lawrenceburg, TN. Today we rode into Memphis to have BBQ but the shop was closed on Sunday, did get to Sun Studios and Graceland just a driveby.

Tonight we're in Little Rock, tomorrows plan is to ride to Oklahoma City.

That is one heck of a Rally: BBQ, Sun Studios, Graceland, Friends and great Roads. Glad to hear the Club is making their way back home.
