First off let me say we had a great, although at times wet ride during the Fourth Annual Ring Around Orlando ride. I kind of like riding in light to moderate rain but toward the end of the ride I'm sure that the radar overhead was pretty solid red in color and we were concerned where the next lightening strike might occur as we challenged the storm formerly known as Dorian. At least the outflow winds were minimal and the rain cooled us off. We enjoyed seeing some Voyagers and Green Knights today. I'm sorry but Marcia and I led most of the ride and it is difficult to get pictures from up front. Toward the end of the ride we let one of the Green Knight (Danny Burdick) take the lead and we took some pictures from the back but by then all the Voyagers peeled off since we are from all over the state. I think about four actual Voyager XII models showed up plus a few more Voyager Sympathizers such as Marcia and I on our Goldwing. A total of eleven eclectic motorcycles rode the 250 mile bike hike today.
The Sunshine State Voyagers is under new leadership. Please welcome our new President, Tim McClellean and our new Vice President, George Borcherding. I have turned over all items that belonged to our chapter (which is not much since we don't pay dues and didn't own anything except a banner that I made from money I gathering when we were reforming in 2008 and there was a chapter reorganization fee that was waived).
Anyway please welcome our new leadership in. Marcia and I will still be around. Ride Safe and see you soon.

Re: New Sunshine State Voyagers President and Vice President
I would like to thank Tim and George for stepping up and taking the SSV forward, I also stepped down from the V.P. position due to work and other things going on with my local charity work, I couldn't give the SSV the 100% effort the it deserves, the SSV is a great group of people and a pleasure to know and ride with. I also will be around and ride as my time permits. To Tim and George, I invite the SSV to come down to Ft. Pierce on the 1st Sunday in Dec. for our Victory Motorcycles-St. Lucie County Toy Run, over 1000 bikes for a 40 mile police escorted loop ride along the coast to and great party at the end, Victory Motorcycles will also be there on Saturday and Sunday with free test rides on the entire 2014 line up all for the cost of a toy and $10.00 that goes to the local P.A.L.

Re: New Sunshine State Voyagers President and Vice President
Thanks for all both of you have done to keep the SSV active and involved. George and I know we have big shoes to fill, and we are looking forward to the challenge.
We are always interested in hearing what opportunities are available for us to get the SSV together for events. Because FL graces us with nearly year round riding weather, there will be plenty of chances for us to bring everyone together.
Having Carl here in the Sunshine State certainly makes it easy to get people to come to central Florida!
