Found this on Craigslist, Looks like a GREAT deal if anybody is looking for a low mileage Voyager XII

Does look like a good deal but with only 29K I wonder why it has a new seat cover, replacement carburetors, reworked brakes??? Unless they are custom??

...but you also have to remember , this bike has sat around more than it has been ridden,perhaps it didn't leave a garage for many consecutive years. the carbs plug up (many guys look for a different set instead of repairing ) and the brake caliper pistons do not return after being applied, needing re-worked. ....but the seat issue.. :Cball

If I had room to put it somewhere I'd buy it right now without hesitation. If for nothing else but parts from my existing 2001 it would be a bargain. It isn't that far away from me.

If you want to store it in my garage for the next 10 or so years you can, I'll even make sure the battery stays charged and the gas stays fresh in the tank for you. :hpdc:

"Replacement Carbs" scares me. Usually they're rebuilt. Proceed with caution

Really?? It's $2700. It has 29,000 miles on it. How much can a set of rebuilt carbs cost? You probably spent that much on your last cholesterol screening.
