About how Many?
Hi Everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone has a idea how many Voyagers were made from the first year
Kawasaki started producing them(what year?) until 2003? Not counting the 1700.
Thanks,
lockwoodjohn

Re: About how Many?
There were 2500 made per year untill 2003 that year as tooling was wearing out only 700 were made. I asked my brother Duane if he knew and he gave me the answer.

Re: About how Many?
How did your brother know how many were made? Mfgr's seem to never release those figures
Tooling wearing out? I doubt that. Others have said there were a lot of left over 2002 parts so Kaw decided to make the bike in 2003. But that's not confirmed either.

Re: About how Many?
The tooling was wearing out. Carl has mentioned several times how the last 3 years seem to have more issues, such as transmission shift forks/dogs, that hadn't really ever been problems before.

Re: About how Many?
There were hints of a new Voyager in the mid 90's but there seemed to be a lack of interest in a new and improved Voyager .A lot of people said they should leave it just the way it was-- ,so they did.By 2003 the interest was there ,but the numbers were still not high enough to move ahead .Lucasind wrote:.....I suppose Kawasaki would be like most companies and squeeze the buck or (yen) anywhere they can.
