Crankcase splitting
Does anyone have a tip to split the crankcase? I've sprayed seam with penetrating solvent and heated the case next to a stove. Have managed only to get a short .0020 seam next to the fly wheel pry point and left it wedged open a couple of days. Have removed all bolts shown in manual and see no others. Contemplating rigging an inside spreader.

Re: Crankcase splitting
be sure to remove the flywheel, do not force the cases, when everything is loose a gentle tap with a plastic mallet is all that is required.
