Good morning, I was wondering if anyone had the Kuryakyn grips on their XII and if so do you know which model # it is? The Kury website doesn't even list the ZG1200 as an option.
Thanks,
Scott

Re: Grips
From the Dollar4Dollar page of this website:
Kuryakyn part # 6180 - Specified for Honda Goldwings, but will fit with some modifications to the Voyager XII's, they are 6 1/4" long, the left grip requires no mods to work install as instructions state. The right side grip throttle side does require some mods, to get the correct spacing between the grip and the controls, if you don't want to use a foam spacer.

Try these http://www.shop.shinhopples.com/product ... goryId=103
Very cheap to. I put them on last year & love them. They just slide over the oem grips.

Re: Grips
I put Kuryakyn 6180s on mine a couple weeks ago. I just cut about half an inch off the end of the handlebar so a spacer isnt needed. I also have Iso Grips on my XS1100.

Re: Grips
I went to foam grips a number of years ago, on my 750. Foam grips were one of the first upgrades I did to my Voyager. They're fantastic, on any bike, reducing vibrations applied to your hands! Whatever brand/style, foam grips are a "necessity", in my book. Cheers!
