my 95 voyagerII brakes keep locking up...i rebuilt master and calipers and problem remains. i have to loosen front bleeders to move bike bur they re lock after a few miles or when parked over night...please help deebee

Did you clean out the return hole in the MC? If not take a thin wire and run it in there.

DEEBEE: You may have frozen caliper pistons, You need to take off calipers and take out pads and push out pistons (make sure you do not pop them out all the way) You need to clean them up so they are shiny smooth and lube them and work them in & out as much as you can , Brake dust and crud cooks on them and they start sticking out. Also clean the pegs that the shoes hang on. As stated make sure your bleeder system is completly clean. That little hole gets plugged up very often. Make sure you did not fill master cylinders to full because when you put new pads on they are thicker and they push fluid back in the cylinders and lock up when they get heated up or just applied. thanks for the advice. my calipers were cleaned and fluid levels are spot on. someone told me my brake lines may have colapsed and i am looking into getting new lines and spliter. the m/c was cleaned and the tiny hole also. going to get her out fot this season and would love to remidy this ongoing problem...and thoughts? db

Ours was a 96 with the exact same problem. We replaced the master cylinder with no improvement. We then replaced brake lines and everything has been good ever since. Good luck resolving this problem.

I have a set of OEM brake lines that came off a 2003 that were only in service for 9000 miles, you can have them for the shipping to get them to you.
