A mirror is kinda , a pesky odd shaped thing to work on , so I draped a shop towel over the jaws of the bench vise to hold it steady.I looked the job over and decided that the visor should follow the natural contour of the mirror's outer, and top edge.
When I had em where I wanted em, I took my scribe and pushed the point thru
Gene's holes

I got a set of those "micro screwdrivers" from harbor freight 10 years ago, and they worked perfect for this job.

After the screws are tightened down, a fair amount of the black silicone will ooze out around the visor's edge, a clean cloth, wet or dry(It really don't matter, I tried both ways) will give that nice finished look,

Of course, the first one took awhile to figure out the "game plan" and took awhile to complete......the second one took much less time and the mirrors were back on the XII . Here is a look at the install......cheers !.......tony
