Hi everyone,
Tomorrow I will be replacing my plugs and front and rear brake pads, Plus changing fluid in
brakes and clutch. Tonight I just took off Fake tank and removed battery and the tray. Used a
drop light and flash light with a mirror to try to see drain holes, Just where are they in the head? Perhaps the 12.5 hour day I put in at work has dulled my vision(LOL). Will do the work
in the AM after good nights sleep.
Welcome any input, Advise!
Thanks, lockwoodjohn

Re: Spark Plug Drain Holes?
Be sure to use compressed air & blow out your spark plugs area before removing them. You'll be amazed at how much junk is in there. If you don't do that it will fall in the hole when you remove your plug.

Re: Spark Plug Drain Holes?
4 very small passageways are cast into the cylinder head leading from the plug wells down to the rear bottom of the cylinder head casting. They exit at the 4 very small protrusions where the head and cylinder meet, and are in line with each sparkplug location. I used a piece of 14 quage solid copper household wire to push UP into the passageways to clean them. The 2 center ones are harder to get at if the carbs are still mounted.
One could also use compressed air with a angled tip on an air duster.
