The trunk is from the factory adjustable, just look underneath it from behind and you'll see the release lever. Pull it and the trunk should slide front to back. The kit you discovered moves it back another 3 inches which may be what you need but I would try sliding it to it's rear most position first. The rear passenger seat as well is adjustable as discussed earlier so go ahead and adjust both to the rear most point and see if it helps.

Yep. Got to thinking about that today. My 2000 suzuki 1500LC doesn't like car oil. Makes the clutch slip. Guy I traded with said he had just changed the oil.

As to tires. I've had too many discussions about the dark side to count
I'll just put my tire on and enjoy
I was thinking more on the line of brake and clutch (lever) fluids

Definetly a major leak from the water pump area. Thinking it's the seal where the pump goes into the engine case. Anyone have a part number

You will probably find the oil is coming out of a little hole in the bottom of where the shaft run.
The common problem is the seal on the end of the pump (inside the engine case) comes out, You will have to take the pump out and replace the seal to fix it.
The seal is a standard size and is available at any bearing supply house.

just in case you aren't near a bearing supply house the OEM part # is 92049-1416

Had an oil leak same place on my 02. Pump bearing was so far gone, impeller hit the inside of the housing and broke the lower mounting bolt. Same work to get it all out. Replaced the pump. I was surprised that it never leaked water, just oil as the housing shifted around.

Contact; Carl Leo he has the only "REAL" seal kit for the water pump with all the seals you will need, and he can give you the best information to do that job or anything else on the XII. voyagerparts@bellsouth.net

Your oil leak (behind the water pump) is most likely the seal blown out that seal the oil pump shaft that drives the WP. I have the same issue and spoke to Carl Leo (he is a voyager god) and told me that was most likely the issue. Makes a bit of a mess but only loose about a tsp a day. Not a difficult job but you need to remove the radiator. Carl has a seal kit put together that has everything you need.

If you need it, Carl most likely has it.

I too am a darksider (I also will stop at that) but I love it

radiator removal is not manditory but the chance of pinching one or both of the inlet pipe O rings or cross threading one of the 6mm bolts is much higher if you don't. i always remove the radiator and the exhaust header pipes, it gives enough access that you can do this without fear of having to do it over...
