Well, look who's in little ol' Klamath Falls! Let's see how my memory is. From the left, Trish, Hank, Gert, Don and Ron. Was great to meet them. Had dinner and talked a little! As far as I know, with Ron's XII and mine at home, that makes two in Klamath Falls! What a great bunch. Enjoy your ride!

Dane, sounds like they had a nice ride, good looking bunch of folks! Good looking XII in the foreground, too.grumpin wrote:Well, look who's in little ol' Klamath Falls! Let's see how my memory is. Re: Nice visit!
Yes, great bunch. I wish I could get the photos up like that. Need to read more. Photobucket is easy for me. Don noticed me checking out all the bikes for ideas, especially Ron's XII. He said it's a great way to see what others do, and I should come to the rally!ghostler wrote:Dane, sounds like they had a nice ride, good looking bunch of folks! Re: Nice visit!
Actually it is not hard. You need photo editing software. I use Gimp, a free software program.grumpin wrote:I wish I could get the photos up like that. Need to read more. Photobucket is easy for me.
Photos most be no wider than 800 pixels and no taller than 600 pixels. In Gimp I go to "Image" > "Scale Image", then resize the photo. Gimp saves in its native format. Instead of "Save", I use "Export", select format JPG or give file name extension as ".jpg". Resized photo is saved as a JPG. Then I export to Photobucket.

Re: Nice visit!
You'll find Gimp at the website, http://www.gimp.org/. Click on link, "Downloads". The first half of the web page as versions for both Unix and Linux. About half way down there is a link, "Show other downloads". Click on it, another web page comes up. There, you'll find versions for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS. Gimp is a feature rich photo editing software, has many nice features. Most only use a subset. It takes a little getting used to, but I've found it a very good tool for editing photos.grumpin wrote:Nice, thanks! Gimp fits, I am a gimp!
