Owner's Manual download
Most of you probably already have this site bookmarked, or have a paper copy of the Owner's Manual (not the Service Manual) but for the rest of us without one you can download and view a copy at:
http://www.kawasaki-techinfo.net/showOM ... ng_code=EN
Note: The website is super slow so be patient after you click an item.
It has exactly the type of basic operational info that I have been seeking that the service manual lacks. A great resource for all us 1st time owners of this great machine.
I found a reference to it on this forum in an obscure posting about another matter so I claim no credit for sourcing it, I'm just reposting it for others to find it easier..

Re: Owner's Manual download
What a great download for those who are missing the OM.
One thing I did notice is that the rear tire size/sidewall construction listed in the specifications section under the "Frame" heading, seems at odds with the literature I have seen so far, and my own rear tire lettering.
Then again, maybe it is my eyeglass prescription needs renewing.
Just something I saw,
Dave

Re: Owner's Manual download
I have an Owner's Manual, but it's a complicated and worthless pup. It's a directory, not a file. Difficult to search, and doesn't have anything useful anyway. Don't remember where I got it, and don't really have a clue how to send it to you.
(Much like Dave's whiz-bang circuit diagram, which he has lately denied owning. Except that's actually useful. )

e-mail? Is it a digital file? leegrube@email.comNails wrote: ↑Sat Jun 20, 2020 2:20 am I have an Owner's Manual, but it's a complicated and worthless pup. It's a directory, not a file. And yes, I am cool with everyone seeing my e-mail. If I get spammed with trunk crash bars from someone trying to sell me, I might just take them up on their offer so it's a good thing lol

Re: Owner's Manual download
SWEET! Not 2002 but then again I don't think much has changed in the 13 yrs - I could prolly get a 1987 one or 1986 and not have much different Than 2002 or even 2003, the last model year!triton28 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 20, 2020 12:42 pm try: https://ownersmanuals2.com/kawasaki/voy ... nual-69151

Now I have service Manual, Service Supplement, Radio Manual, CB Manual, and Owners to complete it off. Tho I do not need CB (not installed) nor Radio (Newer BT Model in there) but cool to have anyways for nostalgic reasons :)
Thanks for this I googled 30 min before posting - found some links here but they were broken by now lol

Re: Owner's Manual download
Nothing in the Owner's Manual changed from the 87 model year to the 2003 model year except for the model colours.
The service manual and supplement however document the minor changes which did occur over the years.
Those being numerous changes to the clutch; wheel colour and minor valve stem changes; differing water pump o-ring thicknesses; differing radiator caps; gear change shaft changes and return spring changes; changes in the front fork compression cylinders; wall thickness of the fork down tubes; and different colour changes for the rear brake caliper.
All relatively minor and do not affect the information in the owner's manual for any year.
There was an owner's manual around awhile ago which had an incorrect size for the rear wheel, it listed it as 16" when in fact it is 15". Check in the specifications section of the manual I gave the address for and verify the rear wheel size, I didn't yet.
Enjoy reading,
Dave
