i'm not a Electrical engineer and don't know much about it, but i would like to buy a new horn and louder one. what i need to know do i have to use a relay and why or can i just use the original horn button

Yes, you do have to use a relay for a "bigger, heavier" horn. and yes you can use your horn button/wire to trigger the relay. If you don't use a relay, you will blow the fuze everytime you try to use the horn.

I would suggest adding in an additional fuse block to supply power to the new horn directly from the battery. I would also suggest adding a 12 Volt accessory outlet (for cell phone charging, GPS, etc.) at the same time, wired through the new fuse block, with a relay powering it, through a switched circuit (one that is off when the key is off). Yea, I will be adding an accessory outlet to mine.Recently needed that for my cell phone.
