first problem... seat removal
Ok, I have a Corbin seat on the 95 V. It has a couple tabs that should line up and have bolts through them to hold the seat on. But, the tabs don't line up, so no bolts. Still, the seat won't move. Am I missing something? Need to get the seat off to work a few issues.

Shouldn't be any problem. Can't tell though, without seeing it...... Has a PO added other bolts/screws anywhere you can find??

I can't see any. he said it just required some force. Apparently quite a bit of it and two of us at the same time couldn't get it to move. Just wondering if I'm missing something obvious.

Any way you can look at a stock seat setup? That would let you know how the setup works. There are several members of the AVA forum who live in South Carolina, though the way the software is set up I can't look them up by state.

I assume the corbin is a one piece .That means there is a good chance that the tabs for the front seat are still there.Wahrsuul wrote:Ok, I have a Corbin seat on the 95 V. Try pushing back on the drivers seat .

To remove corbin seat, Take off the faux tank cover first, (you will probably have to remove the plastic ignition key cover also to get faux cover off easier), Move trunk all the way to the rear then remove side covers just so you don't damage them. The brackets that the bolts are supposed to go thru do not line up so they may have just forced them down on them. Seat should just lift up from rear unless someone has added something else to hold it.
