CB not Working

cb blew the fuse . replaced the fuse . everything works ok
but the display is blank . the backlight works for the screen
all the controls work . why it blank

The CB Control head tends to do this at times. I found that if you remove the positive lead from the battery, wait a couple seconds, then reattach, the numeric display will miraculously reappear.

The main thing that will cause this is water has gotten onto the chip inside the controller.. OR the data line from the CB main silver box to the controller is broken..
If its the latter, that can be fixed..
If its the former, then you need to look for a new controller or send it to me.. I have some innards and can repair it..

Hmm.. then it may have caused damaged to the actual CB unit.. I would need you to send me both items for me to check it out..

guess i forgot . after replaced all was well worked for awhile
then the face went blank.

Try pulling the plugs apart that go to the display unit sometimes they loose contact.

If you are going to put it up for the Winter, then why not send the box and/or controller down to me .. Let me take a look at it get it ready for you for spring
