Steering Stem
Hey y'all!
Quiet little forum you've got here! Any chance someone has a technical drawing of the steering stem for one of these beasts? If not, diameters at the triple clamp interfaces would be helpful as well. If you've got a spare stem sitting on your bench and don't mind measuring it, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Nick

Re: Steering Stem
Maybe this is what you are looking for? The Service Manual is the most technical we have available:

(Thanks MR Jensee!)
Where in Oregon are you, Nick?

Re: Steering Stem
Not quite, although that is useful, thanks!
Ideally I'm looking for something like this: http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y189/k ... dified.jpg
I'm doing a front end swap on my bike and it would be good to know before I start. Otherwise I can just take it apart and measure it.
I'm in Portland. Just got the Voyager and going to be building a street fighter out of it.

Re: Steering Stem
Gettin' old, huh, Ron?
FWIW, Nick, if you can't find the exact info on the stem and bearing sizes, and you would rather know in advance, there are a couple of stems/bearings available on eBay for under $20. A whole stem, bearings and triple tree are only $34. Just do a search for "kawasaki voyager 1300" and you will find thousands of 1300 parts, new and used.
