Re: what is this for???????
There will be a similar one somewhere by the passenger on the left too..
Headsets (J&M) run out about $100 or so.. Allow radio to play CB (if fitted) and music through headphones to rider and passenger and an intercom to both too.
Make sure you dont get any water in those sockets else you will get a loud squeal

Re: what is this for???????
Pete, you said Neal. How do I find "Neal" on the forum? I've spoken to you (via emails) and will be sending you my OEM Kaw Voyager Clarion stereo in the off-season for upgrades and adding the mp3input port, etc.
However, now I need to know which route to go for a J&M headset for my newly functioning OEM Voyager Clarion CB system. Issue is complicated by my awaiting a new Bell Mag helmet with integrated SENA SMH10 Bluetooth headset. I ride with a group that has taken on the SENA SMH10 system so I bought a new Bell Mag helmet with the SENA in it. But a wired CB system is required to hear the CB, etc.
I need one of you experts to help me configure the Bell/SENA and the Clarion CB outputs. But what fun!

Re: what is this for???????
I have the Bell helmet Sena intercom also. Sena has a SM10 unit that will allow you to plug in and listen through the onboard system using the 5 pin connector with the SMH10. I don’t have the CB so I’m not sure if you can transmit back through the CB. I use it to listen to my Garmin in my helmet. I have a cassette adapter in the radio to transmit through the radio.
