About what I paid. Very happy with it for years now.

Just be sure you have a stock seat, or seat pan.

I have a Russell Day long seat and it fit fine since they use the stock seat pan.
It mounts to the bottom of it. Easy install.

...If you have a stock kaw seat,,,, you send Utopia the passenger seat, it comes back with driver's back rest stub attached,,,,they cut a nice little slit in the upholstery, and a steel mount is all that is showing,to which you attach the backrest....have had mine for 10k miles, and won't ride without it now !

After that ....I had my stock driver seat built by russel"day long".....have never been pleased with THAT $400. purchase...... in fact you may see my "russel" seat advertised "for sale" soon.
as I am in the market now for something else :-( ...........................tony :-D

No need to send Utopia your seat. Do it yourself, very simple. Why waste money sending it to them.

If you don't like your Russell Seat, then it's not fitting you properly. I've never heard any complaints about Russell seats.
Take pictures of yourself on the bike & send it back to have it reworked.
They're the best custom seat for the 1200 out there

With any custom seat-- if you sell your seat - the purchaser must be the same height & weight of the original buyer it was made for- or it won't fit them properly

Agree on the Utopia. Its very comfortable, the fit is perfect, and it's easy to install, with simple clear instructions. They even match the upholstery pattern on the saddle, which apparently changed at some point. Great product, great service and a good price. What's not to like. I'm very happy with mine. (Of course I have the advantage of living close to the US border and can use a US mail delivery address to avoid the outrageous "brokerage" fees charged by couriers.)

I might add... THE best $200 you'll spend on an accessory for the Voyager. :wnk2:
