Strange color combo

Found this XII on ebay this morning: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kawasaki-Other- ... otorcycles

the listing says that it's a 1992. The color charts show that the '92s were black with blue inserts, not red. It looks nice.

Looks like a PO repainted the blue/teal inserts. I do like this color combination better than the stock.

If you look close at the pic's, I don't think the inserts are repainted, If they are they did an excellent job on it.
I also seen 86 voyagers with black inserts.

According to the VIN it's a '92. Agree with Debron. Thats the same color scheme that my 1100 Spectre had. Loved that bike! :LvStrk

The paint looks as if it came from the factory that way. I was wondering if Ma Kaw used different color schemes for other countries. Maybe some service man purchased it overseas and brought it back to the States. It wouldn't take much to swap out the speedometer for a US spec one.
