Wiring Third (and maybe more) LED brake light.
I'm adding an LED brake light strip to the trunk on my bike and before I mangle any wiring I wanted to make sure I set up the wiring properly. I have an LED strip with red and black leads. Inside the tail light section of the trunk I have three wires going to each brake light: a red one which is hot when the ignition is on, a blue one that is hot when the brakes are applied and a black/yellow stripe that I assume (there's that ugly word again) is the ground. So to make my LED strip illuminate with my brake lights I need to splice into which two wires? I'm guessing the LED black goes with the black/yellow ground, and I'm guessing the LED red goes into the blue so it is only on when the brakes are applied, am I right??? Thanks for your input, its only 39 here today and I don't want to spend any more time in the unheated garage than I have to
