Side Kicks

These are made for Harley crashbars, but I wonder if they would work on the crashbar of a XII?

The only problem I could see with them is some people
Would start to rely on them and not on rider skill and balance! They
Could help someone with a physical handicap. That would be the only
Reason I could see to have them on a bike.
Just my to cents

Ahhh, so that is what I have been doing wrong for all these years....

Using my legs and feet to keep the bike stable when going slow or stopping.....

And judging from the video, you will never wear out your rear brake.

Not sure how it would make it easier to maneuver in a tight spot, you can't turn near as tight of a corner with those things holding the bike upright.

How would that help with rear brake wear??

Judicious use of the rear brake while in the "friction zone" can help tighten the radius of a low speed turn; and some people use the rear brake a lot when riding in parades.

The video showed the rider stopping repeatedly while pushing down on the side wheel footrests. This may work fine on other bikes with interlocked braking systems , but on a Voyager 12 you need to use your right foot to apply the rear brakes.

I have to agree with Tony on this one, The HD guys I ride with would not be seen riding with ya if ya had those on the bike unless you were severely handicapped. If I ever get that weak in the knees its a Can-Am spider for me or, just have my wife put me down cause I have lived too long..... Just Sayin
