Heated Grips
I bought myself a set of Oxford Heated Grips for Christmas. I installed them a couple of weeks ago and these grips are nearly 1in shorter than the factory grips. Does anyone know of a spacer I can use between the grips and the bar end weights that will make it more aesthetically appealing?

Re: Heated Grips
I take it the heaters are built into the grips? No spacer that I know of, but if it were me, I'd just move everything down towards the bar ends.

Re: Heated Grips
You could always find a piece of PVC pipe with the proper ID, paint it black, and wrap electrical tape on the bar to snug it so it won't rattle. Not ideal, but aesthetically, it will look decent. Cheers!

Re: Heated Grips
How much short are they?
Maybe I could make end weights that go over the bar to take up the gap.

I used 1 inch dia. heater hose to fill the gap.debron wrote:Or maybe a piece of black heater hose???
Here's the OEM along side the Bikemaster heated grip:
Here's the left Bikemaster with a small section of 1" heater hose between it and the weighted end. Heater hose section is a little narrower due to the aftermarket CB talk switch installed before the left hand switch cluster:
Here's the right Bikemaster grip with another slightly longer section to fill the gap:

Re: Heated Grips
Thanks for all the replies. I like the idea of making another set of bar end weights that would be recessed to go over the exposed bar. Don't know it would cost but it may not be worth the time and expense if it ended up costing more than the heated grips. The most practical idea I saw was to use heater hose to fill in the gap. I have some of that laying around I will probably go this route and keep the customized bar end weights in the back of my mind.
