When you switch from air shocks to springs on the front of a 1200, should you do anything with the air fill tube and the equalizer air tube? I have not seen anything about this.
Thank,
Don W

Re: shock conversion from air to springs
Most leave everything in place after going to the Progressive springs. There are some who will still add air to the front suspension. The only problem I have with leaving the lines in place, is that shock oil will sometimes make its way back to the air filler valve.

You want to leave that all in place so the system is sealed, even with no air presser put in the forks there is still air presser when the forks compress

Re: shock conversion from air to springs
I was wondering if oil could travel from left to right? If the oil on one side is less that on one side to the other could it create sway left to right. Two issues I did go down last year and it was on its side for a couple minuets, I have a small fork seal leak. So I am thinking the sway may be oil lower oil on one side to the other?
Thanks,
Don
