rear shocks

hello all!!

My rear shocks on My 94 Voyager are leaking........I've been told that factory replacements

are quite expensive........

any good after-market shocks??

have been told that rear air shocks aren't necessary if replacements have over-load springs.

Appreciate all feedback!!

These are the non air Progressive rear shocks, 412s There are 2 ratings available for the springs.
There are also air Progressive shocks available,416s Check out Progressive Suspension's website.

You want to put the progressive 412-4221C shocks on they are like night and day to the factory shocks.
you don't want to put the air progressives on they are no better then the factory shocks and cost more money.

I went with the heavy duty progressives. I wound up setting them on lowest setting most of the time, and only put them up one notch when pulling a trailer laden for a long trip. at over 280lbs and usually carrying more than i should, they have been great. I did notice my angle of view over the windshield changed to being higher till i dropped the setting down.
Added benefit is that I haven't bottomed out (and hit the oil plug) crossing speed bumps since then (used to have to walk them across the steep ones).
