Seat cover and padding

Two questions:

1. I want to find a good rain cover for the seats. Looking for something that covers just the seats as I have found a whole bike cover to act like a sail. Any recommendations.

2. Aside from replacing the seat, any happy experience with adding memory foam to the seat or a seat pad that you permanently fix to the seat? I'm not interested in an air hawk, some like a nicely fitted or maybe a gel pad insert. Any recommendations?
