Waterless Antifreeze

Does anyone run waterless anti freeze? Is the change over hard? Any input. Thanks

I don't see a need for it. I've used Prestone the last 10 years. Change it every 2 years

That's the point, no more changing, no more corrosion, less heat. I think since the engine is aluminum it's just better for it.

I ran Engine Ice in my motocross bikes. But from what i have read about street bikes is you lose a litttle bit of corrosion protection and lubrication with the engine ice.

You can double check with Lance as he is using it ,but ,I have read you need to do a special flush before adding new coolant .Otherwise it's pretty easy -------From what I have read

The 1200 has a excellent cooling system. You wouldn't see much of a difference. But if you want to save 20 minutes every two years by not changing coolant, that's your choice

I tried it and then took it back out because the temperature gauge ran hotter than with regular anti freeze. Their explanation was that the gauge showed a higher temp because the coolant was pulling more heat from the engine----- didn't make sense to me so I put regular anti freeze back in. What I had used was the Evans Product.

That is a weird explanation. Higher the temp gauge reads, better for your engine?
