Things are still up in the air as to when I will be leaving. Work load has lessened and I may be able to leave on Friday and will just catch up to the rest of the group out on the road. Daughter is stable condition and my ex-wife has no issue's with Marie and I leaving town. There is little that we can do here. The two major surgeries she needs are weeks away at this point anyway.
Sooooooooo- packing day has begun for me tonight. Hope to have the trailer packed by tonight and pointed towards the door. If I have forgotten anything then I didn't need it anyway...See ya'll soon

The Machine Shed is a neat place to eat. Good grub and an interesting decor.

Yes it is very good. Only 1 1/2 miles west. Pretty good for a guy from S. Dakota

We ate at the Machine Shed on our way back from the rally in Utah in 2012 and enjoyed the place. WE would take the truck and trailer down there from the motel and as I recall they had lots of parking so it should not be a problem.

We stop there every time we go through Davenport on the way to Grand Rapids to see one of the boys.
From home to Davenport is about all the driving I want to do in a day.

Heading out in the morning (Sat) for Colorado Springs, then Sunday Am up to Estes via the back way.
we will run up I25 to Denver then west up I70 to the state highway 40 exit. From there to Granby, CO. Highway 34 north to the west side of Rocky Mtn Park arriving in Estes Park from the west whenever we get there.
Maybe not the best route to pull my trailer, but we won't be there at the event to go on any of the scenic rides so will have to make do with how we get there and leave (work requires us to leave Tuesday afternoon).
Shelley and I will be staying at the KOA campground with a Coleman instatent and our vehicles (97 teal Kawa Vulcan 800, my '03 Voyager, and a gold clamshell trailer).
If you see us, say hi.
PM me if you want to ride along the above mentioned route with us. We have blue-tooth for our comm, but i set up a cb that I hope works.
Enjoy your rides and condolences to those who couldn't make it this year.
Blessings,
Ken (and Shelley)

Lance and Tina McCaw met us in Davenport last night on their immaculate 1987 Voyager and we had a most enjoyable dinner with them at a restaurant called the Machine Shed. It was really nice of them to contact us when I posted our itinerary going to Estes Park and offer to meet us
. It used to be said, "that you meet the nicest people on a Voyager", and it is still true today.
